The Science of Reading in Action: Brain-Friendly Strategies Every Teacher Needs to Know Book Study is returning!
This book is more than a resource — it's a movement to transform reading instruction. With 67% of kids in the U.S. struggling to read, we need change. The Science of Reading in Action tackles the top barriers: lack of research-based training, practical tools, and support.
Join Maddy Johnson as she facilitates April's book study and learn about:
- What research really says about how kids learn to read (Hint: Social media doesn't always get it right!).
- Quickly identifying and overcoming the biggest challenges for struggling readers.
- Ready-to-use activities and strategies that make brain-friendly reading instruction a breeze.
- Simple techniques that help students memorize words 10x faster than flashcards.
Written by expert educator Malia Hollowell, this book makes teaching reading easier for you--and ensures every student thrives. Bring the science of reading to life in your classroom and see real results.
