Join us for October's 2025 MSTA "Beyond the Book" Club Book Study, featuring Educator Bandwidth: How to Reclaim Your Energy, Passion, and Time by Jane A.G. Kize and Ann Holm.
Participants are responsible for obtaining their own copy of this month's text prior to the beginning of the book study to order; click here.
Join us as we explore how to reclaim your energy, passion, and time as educators. Participants will expand their abilities to truly make their mental bandwidth work for you. We will develop strategies to reduce stress, avoid burnout, and regain the precious time that tends to be lost due to task-switching, interruptions, and increased demands placed on teachers and administrators today. We will self-assess the six main factors that contribute to bandwidth and focus on actionable tasks in the areas of self-care, goal setting and balance to support long-term success and prevent burnout. This book study offers a supportive environment for reflection, readjusting and creating action steps to further your own wellness journey. Whether you are a classroom teacher, instructional coach, building leader, district administrator, or support staff, you are more than welcome to join us for this book study!
