Engagement through Universal Design for Learning

Course Description:
This is an asynchronous course. Asynchronous learning allows participants to learn at their own pace. Learning material is divided into modules that include online readings, audio and video recordings.

Universal Design for Learning (UDL) honors the professionalism you bring to teaching. UDL helps you address learner variability while still adhering to the focused learning of a lesson. It acknowledges your relationship with students as you consider the needs of students in your classroom. Furthermore, it supports the high-level learning you want all students to achieve by honoring the voices of students and building choice into their learning. I know you want to make that learning meaningful to students in a myriad of ways. Join this course to explore the basics of UDL and its role in engaging lesson design.
