Establishing a Positive Learning Environment
This is an asynchronous course. Asynchronous learning allows participants to learn at their pace. Learning material is divided into modules that include online readings, audio and video recordings.
Much of this course will help to support classroom management. Classroom management is not the same as discipline. Discipline is a response to a misbehavior, while good classroom management requires proactive planning so misbehavior is less likely to occur in the first place. While a portion of this course will be devoted to learning about behavior management, the primary focus will be the proactive measures a teacher can take to avoid misbehaviors while establishing a positive learning environment.
