New Beginning Teacher Assistance Requirements
MSTA's Onsite BTAP covers four topics:
· Classroom environment
· Instruction and engagement
· Professional communication
· Education-related laws
Missouri's Teaching Standards, which are at the core of Missouri’s evaluation tools, are incorporated into the program. Participants learn effective and engaging teaching practices and strategies for increased student achievement while having the opportunity to network with educators from across Missouri.
Onsite Event Details:
The Onsite BTAP is a one-day event. Registration begins at 8:00; Program is from 8:30 - 3:30. Each participant will receive a BTAP Resource book and USB drive with content.
Participants will learn effective and engaging teaching practices and strategies for increased student achievement. Teachers will interact with each other. This is a great way to connect and network with other educators new to the field across Missouri.
